Through our innovative solutions and collaborative partnerships, we strive to empower individuals to take control of their health, build meaningful connections, and make a positive impact on the world around them. Many of us entered healthcare with the dream of caring for those with the least access. After offering our services in under resourced environments around the world, we learned that engagement and training of persons within the local community is a sustainable option for health maintenance and disease prevention. HYHM was founded to assess the needs and priorities of communities and offer training and support to achieve sustainable health maintenance. We work with local health care providers and lay persons to conduct needs assessment, education, health screening, and training. Our members have worked in rural areas and inner cities in Bolivia, China, Dominican Republic, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Philippines, United States, and St Kitts & Nevis.
